Trillions?!?

Posted by: Rochelle In: Life

Trillions?  Makes me want to clean my own “house.”

The word is out there – everywhere – and yet I almost feel  desensitized to the fullness of it.  It reminds me of not feeling parts of my body at times.  And yet each time I hear the word, I find myself looking to see what else I can “trim” in my life.

Haagen Dazs is a  very distant friend now, if at all.  And my dear friend Lay’s, (Kettle Salt & Vinegar to be exact) is getting the once over before deciding it’s not really the surplus I need in my life.  Balances are being paid the day the bill arrives and clothes that have not been on my body in the last 6 months are being graciously donated.

Trillions?!?  I can’t even wrap my mind around this concept, but we are in this for the long haul.  In the meantime, the most powerful thing I can do is to trim the “fat” from my life, line by line.

About Rochelle Rice

Rochelle Rice, MA, is a nationally-recognized speaker, author, and educator. She is the President of In Fitness & In Health and the creator of the Plus-Size Exercise Technique, which was designed based on her concerns about the inordinate stress put on thinness in our society, rather than fitness.

Rochelle dedicates herself to empowering women of size by connecting the body, the mind, and the heart through focus, movement, and breath. She is the author of Real Fitness for Real Women.

Rochelle is the President of Bryant Park Toastmasters in New York City, Area 33, Club 2895, and became only the 59th Accredited Speaker in the world at the Toastmasters International Convention in Palm Desert, California in August, 2010.
