I love finding movement opportunities in NYC and the places I travel. I was thrilled to find this French sport, Pétanque, similar to the Italian Bocce, is right here in Bryant Park!
I find many women still believe ‘working out’ is an all or nothing event. Creating a “Buffet of Movement (c)” is a very fun way to add many movement possibilities to your life! Begin with the letter A and name an activity. Make your way through the entire alphabet and hang your list in a prominent place. You will be pleasantly surprised at how much ‘lighter’ you feel just by thinking of 26 movement options!
So go on! Add Pétanque to your activity list! You’ll enjoy the movement, being outdoors, the stress reduction, and hearing, learning and/or speaking a bit of French. ;) What more could you ask for?
