Full, Fit & Fabulous – Part I

1995 – Fit and Fat.  That’s what I stood for.  As a member of the board of NAAFA (National Association to Advance Fat Acceptance) I believed no one should be discriminated against when it came to movement.  And still today I would defend any full figured, plus sized, large, curvy woman who leads or desires to lead an active lifestyle.

Fast forward to 2012- while I still believe no one should be discriminated against when it comes to movement, I had a deep desire to blend the nutrition, movement and mental wealth. I believe that ultimately we are hardwired for health and when given the quiet space, we are able to know and feel how to move forward with the guidance of the compassionate, integrated health professional.

Enter – “Full, Fit & Fabulous” 2013 – a blend of three components for overall wellness. I introduced this idea at a retreat in Arizona in May 2012. This is the first time premiering it here in NYC with the addition of some bold, beautiful colleagues!

So get your 2013 started on the right track! No weight loss promises. No hype. No gimmicks. Just pure skills and strategies to help keep your wellness lean and not overwhelming. It’s your journey. And each of us is capable of making it unique.
