Just for today I will notice my breath.  No drama.  No chaos.

When I think about my breath  (a.k.a. mindful about it) I will review the following:

  1. Am I holding my breath?
  2. Is my breath stuck?
  3. Am I panting?
  4. When I inhale, does my abdominal rise?
  5. When I exhale, does my abdominal soften?
  6. Do I feel that sense of relief and steadiness when I exhale?

Whew…that’s it.

In this age of abundant information, it’s nice to keep it simple, if you can call mindful breathing simple.

Some may say I need more goals for 2013.  I say master the mindful breath and declare it a stepping stone for a more vibrant life!
