OK – summer is here! Although not officially until later this month, but it seems the heat of August is here for an early visit in New York City!
For me, it’s time for some new movement opportunities. I recently told about moving out of our physical comfort zone, so I’m trying to walk the talk! Two years ago I tried the trapeze. What a thrill! It still excites me but it’s interesting after 2 years how much my level of caution has crept in. Age?! YIKES! Maybe I should stick to rowing a boat in Central Park with my Yorkie, Champagne, in the bow. :)
Point is, it’s easy to get in a “rut.” Sometimes, it’s great to sit there and reflect…hmmm…what am I doing here? But other times, we must coax the wobbly, maybe even freaked out side of us, to move fearlessly, yet cautiously, through space. For some, that may mean walking a block, for others, it may mean white water rafting.
What are your summer movement plans? Keep me posted. I’m up for some new ideas!
