Walking in the woods, riding a bike, breathing, stretching…no matter what type of movement I chose, it always seems to ground me and bring me back to me. I’m learning, however, this is such a delicate balance between moving and falling into that space where NOT moving seems so much easier to handle physically and emotionally.
What to do at that point when moving my body feels like the last thing I want to do? Exhale. It’s a place to begin.
So here I am…exhaling…and slowly putting one foot in front of the other. Moving to the best of my ability in this moment without getting too stuck on the “why” or “how come” about it.The dark days are a bit gloomy, but I’m looking forward to the winter solstice on December 21st when the days slowly become a bit longer. Guess I’m meant to be in the sunlight. :)
