Happy Fall Season to you!

It’s here! Tonight at 9:03pm the autumn equinox arrives! A change of season invites you to brush up on your health and wellness program as the days continue to get shorter and the nights cooler.

Here are a few areas to review as you step into the season:

Movement Program: Hiking. apple picking, bird watching and biking are all outdoor activities that can be enjoyed in the fall weather. The fresh cool air is invigorating and the activity will energize you! Take the time to create a  list of fall activities and have fun!

Food Program: Warm foods and root vegetables are excellent in the fall season. The warm foods (oatmeal, soup) provide comfort on cooler days and the root vegetables are rich in vitamins and nutrients. Choose foods with lots of color to keep it exciting!

Spiritual Connection: Being in nature reduces anger, fear and stress. The outdoors is soothing when you are healing your heart and provides a positive mood. Time in nature also establishes a feeling of well-being, increases vitality and creates space for a deeper spiritual connection.

So get ready! Welcome the fall with a refreshing brush up on your personal wellness program. May your eyes soak in the fall foliage, your skin feel the crisp air, your body enjoy the variety of fruits and vegetables and your entire being feel alive with movement!

Wishing you an abundant fall season filled with fun!
