I hope you enjoy these 47 seconds of the joy of movement in this video!
I grew up in Mom’s dancing school – Sandra’s School of Dance. Because of her guidance and faith in me, I was able to perform as a young girl in the Boston Ballet’s Nutcracker for four years and ultimately majored in dance at UMASS, Amherst. I went on to dance with the San Francisco Jazz Dance Company for two years and then Jazzdance in NYC for five years.
Why am I sharing this with you?
Movement offers the gifts of:
- Reconnecting with your breath.
- Reconnecting with your self.
- Reconnecting with the world around you.
Whether you dance, take yoga, walk, workout, play pickle ball, bike, golf or any other activity, rejoice in the joy of movement!
For it’s in your breath that creativity flows, ideas come forward, and action can be taken in your life.
And who knows? Maybe you’ll become a tap dancer! :)
