My passion has always been to provide a movement program that works for you right now – now matter your size, shape or movement ability. That passion stands on a solid foundation of technique – one where you understand and embrace the way YOUR body moves.

This is not because you “have to” but rather you have slowly developed a kinder movement relationship with your body. Your curiosity of how your body moves and responds can neutralize the emotions – emotions that are often fraught with chaos.
THIS is what it’s all about.
TECHNIQUE.
When you align your body, you align your head, which aligns your life.
Cherish your technique. Stand tall with your head on top of your spine, earlobe lined up with your shoulder, side of your hip and ankle like a plumb line. The base of your skull should be in alignment with the base of your heels. Ask a friend to take a profile pic of you to check your alignment. Strive to stand tall each day.
TRUST.
Learn to trust yourself. Trust what works for your body and what doesn’t. Trust those whispers and act on them accordingly. Trust that you are standing on a lifetime of knowledge and you are the one who knows your body best.
And TOMORROW?!
I’m still practicing today. I’m still brushing off the remaining “COVID cobwebs.” I’m still checking in daily to see if I am truly living in the present moment.
I cherish being a “work in progress.” It means each day I have an opportunity to deepen the faith and trust I have within myself after years of self-destructive behaviors. It’s not always been an easy journey, but one worth every heartache and joy.
Live brightly. Love deeply. And know in your heart – you are worth it.
