I love this time of year in New York.  The holiday lights are so incredible.  Add a few snowflakes and I can’t help but smile.  Yet the days are colder and shorter – a natural time of year to “turn inward.”  Hibernate in a sense, much like the animal world.  But what does that mean?

Get out of the “busy-ness” and into your body!  I love to go fast – inside and outside.  But what I’m learning is the slowing down internally focuses me and makes my “to do” list much more efficient.  Slowing down is different than lethargic or lazy.  Slowing down is focused and clear.  And then my light shines from within.

Wishing you a blessed holiday season.  Enjoy an internal rhythm that matches your deepest needs.
