Whew! It’s been a whirlwind of a month! Perhaps you feel the same with schedules, work, meetings and what time is left trying to fit in your health and wellness program. But how do you stay the course when life speeds up? Here are a few secrets I learned…
1 – Use the movement throughout the day to help you stay feeling fit. Walk briskly for cardio, sing to help you find your breath again, climb stairs with intention to keep the power in your legs.
2 – When you do sit, feel your sit bones (the base of your pelvis) or both buttocks, equally into the seat of the chair. Feel the soles of both feet as well as the outline of the feet, deep into the earth.
3 – Trust yourself. Trust yourself deeply. Listen intently to the gut instincts and intuition that you feel.
These 3 tips can be applied ALL THE TIME! Just so happens I realized once again how important they were during my busy month of May! ;)
