As we near closer to the two year mark of the COVID pandemic, I ask you, what’s your COVID story?

I’m not one to dwell in the past but I do enjoy and appreciate the ritual of recognizing events. And COVID is no exception.

Over the next few weeks, I invite you to reflect on the past 24 months. Take some time to journal your triumphs and tragedies. Not to go backward in this mess, but instead celebrate you, your life, your journey.

I’ll be sharing with you my favorite COVID stories of both triumph and tragedy – like creating a closer relationship with my parents through Zoom, the loss of so many lives and the heartache of Zoom funerals, the new skills I have learned teaching on Zoom, the missed holidays and gatherings as we sheltered in place, the coming of age of three of my nephews during this time, the celebration of you and your accomplishments through movement.

I hope you will take the time to share with me your COVID story. If you don’t like to write, consider doing an audio recording on your phone and text it to me. I truly would love to hear from you!

With my sincere gratitude for taking the time to read my emails over these past two years. The writing once a week has been a source of comfort and stability for me. It has provided a foundation and purpose – knowing I may touch you in some way through my writing.

We’ve been in this together for quite sometime now – the good, the bad, the raw, the vulnerable and the celebrations.

I am humbled by our experience together.
