It’s a warm, rainy Tuesday…

Checking in with my heart for “the message” of the week, I decided to go outside and take a photo of the rain. The photo changed to rain splattered leaves – which produced this vibrant photo with the leaves contrasting the (still) very green grass!

Is the picture beautiful or messy?
Are your eyes drawn to the green or brown?
Does the photo make you smile, ponder or think “what the heck?!”

In this rapidly changing world, there are some days when it just rains. But within those days there are moments of hope, glimpses of inspiration, a call, text or email from someone letting you know they are thinking of you.

And your faith is restored in humanity.

Today, I learned my friend Dan Nevins is cancer free. Dan is a US Army Veteran who lost both legs in Iraq. Yoga saved his life. He’s an extraordinary human being and I’m so grateful for his treatment success.

Today, one of my original instructors at IFIH is here in NYC and staying at my place. Many of you may know Carolyn Strauss from HSN. She is another extraordinary woman who stood by me when I first began my business.

Today, I received a picture of my grandmother and grandfather that I had never seen before. My grandfather died when I was in the first grade and it broke my heart. There are not many pictures of him so this one today soothed my heart.

Some days, it just rains.

But it’s between the rain drops that you find all the emotions of being human.

Thank you for being on this human journey with me.
