One decision I made since the surgery was to walk each day - for both physical and mental health reasons. Honestly, there were days I just didn't want to walk.
As part of my healing process, I've decided to stay in the country with less noise, less distraction, and less overall stimulation. I have been walking each day to get outside, steady myself and regulate any anxiety that may bubble up about this shift in limited movement.
